1963 – £tbc – NSU Quickly Model 23 – S/2 (11 Images)

Bike is a recent ‘shed’ find, in original, working order.  It starts first turn of the pedals, the three gears and clutch all operate as they should. I have the V5. The MOT expired July 2016 – it is being sold without current MOT. Although the bike runs fine, it would benefit from some cosmetic renovation – especially the wheels, which have rusty spokes (rims and hubs OK).  Some re-chroming and paintwork would soon have it looking very presentable.  Continental tyres appear in good condition, plenty of tread (4mm). It still has the original Denfeld (West German-built) sprung saddle, footrests and original tyre pump (fitted under seat).  There appears to be no parts missing.  The bike has obviously been well looked after over the years, in terms of no damage to cylinder head nuts and fastenings generally. No broken fins on the aluminium head and barrel, for example. The stainless steel silencer is in remarkably good condition. Unfortunately, I do not have a handbook or maintenance manual.  I can pass on a full spares list with complete ‘exploded’ diagrams of all parts.
